Awards Program

In 1993 the first Susanne Wilson Environmental Achievement Awards were presented to publicly recognize facilities in Santa Clara County that have significantly reduced hazardous waste generation. There are separate categories for large, small, and medium-sized facilities, and one for non-profit/public education programs. The awards are presented every two years. The owner has been the subject of numerous newspaper and magazine articles (local, state, and national) and is a popular speaker at government and business seminars. His business has earned the good will of the community, and environmentally conscious customers seek out the shop.
